YOUNG farmers and an Aussie cricket star are among the faces to headline a NSW Farmers’ forum to be held as part of AgQuip next week.

NSW Farmers’ will return to Gunnedah for AgQuip Field Days on August 19-21, with the peak farm body’s shed to be full of familiar favourites on-site, including refreshments from the WFI Coffee Cart and a free barbeque lunch for members and guests.

As well as the GRDC Breakfast to be held at the NSW Farmers’ shed on Wednesday morning, NSW Farmers’ regional services manager, Michael Collins, also encourages members to attend a special forum to be held in Tamworth on Tuesday night.

“NSW Farmers’ Tamworth District Branch has got a very special event in store for us all this year, and if you’re interested in hearing what the biggest challenges and best opportunities are in agriculture, then you’ve got to come along,” Mr Collins said.

“From Aussie cricketer Brad Hogg to our very own Young Farmer Council Chair Martin Murray, we’ve got some stellar speakers lined up to give you some insights into all things affecting the future of food.

“You also can’t miss a trip to the NSW Farmers’ shed this AgQuip – and no matter what you farm or how long you’ve farmed for, there’ll be something for everyone at the shed.”

NSW Farmers’ president Xavier Martin will join NSW Farmers’ staff on-site at the field day, alongside partners and stall holders.

NSW Farmers’ Tamworth District Branch is hosting a special forum at 6pm on Tuesday, August 19 at the Tamworth West Leagues Club.
