Artists invited to submit works for BAMM’s Regional Art Fair

BANK Art Museum Moree is proud to announce the relaunch of the BAMM Regional Art Fair – opening Thursday, September at 5.30pm – and reminds artists and creatives they can submit artwork up until next Monday, August 25.

The Regional Art Fair brings together professional artists and galleries from across New South Wales and beyond for an ambitious exhibition and art market.

Travelling to art centres in Sydney, Newcastle, Inverell, Walcha or Goondiwindi is now not necessary – the galleries are coming to BAMM.

For the first time, BAMM Regional Art Fair has partnered with the likes of AK Bellinger Gallery from Inverell, Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Co-operative from Sydney, Goondiwindi’s Cultivate, Walcha Art Gallery, Newcastle Art Space and The Creator Incubator, also from Newcastle.

BAMM Gallery director Rosie Dennis said the Art Fair will also include floor-to-ceiling salon hang of independent professional artists, giving visitors a unique opportunity to experience the diversity and strength of regional practice in one space.

“This isn’t just an exhibition – it’s a celebration of regional talent and community spirit,” Ms Dennis said.

“From the floor-to-ceiling salon hang to the buzz of the opening weekend, we’re giving visitors every reason to choose Moree as their destination this September.

With the BAMM Regional Art Fair launching on Thursday and Run The Plains taking place on Saturday, it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting weekends of the year in Moree,” she said.

Ms Dennis said there is still time to enter artwork, with independent, professional artists who live or practise in, or are connected to regional Australia, are invited to apply to exhibit in the salon hang. Expressions of Interest close Monday, August 25, 2025.
