Bamara and Lift Health Group now delivering allied health services to Moree

MOREE registered NDIS provider Bamara and allied health provider Lift Health Group have recently teamed up to start providing more accessible allied health services to their National Disability Insurance Scheme clients in Moree.

After identifying the difficulties for clients in the Moree community to access fast and reliable allied health services, Bamara’s NDIS team leader for Moree and Coonamble, Kylie Stirling, and managing director at Lift Health Group Matt Belperio, began looking for ways to help close the gap.

The team from Lift Health group chartered a plane from Sydney to Moree to begin delivering occupational therapy and speech pathology services on a fortnightly basis.

Bamara Moree disability support co-ordinator, Melissa Bull, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting individuals, families and the Moree community.

The partnership gives greater access and convenience, and provides streamlined allied health support that will benefit clients and the wider Moree community.

“We’re excited to work with Lift Health Group to bring much needed and ongoing occupational therapy and speech therapy services to Moree due to a lack of availability for these services in our community,” Ms Bull said.

Services introduced through the collaboration will strengthen local capacity and ensure Moree community members can access the right support closer to home.

Bamara delivers NDIS Disability Support Services Monday to Friday at 26 Balo Street, Moree.
