Inverell Aquatic Centre official opening Friday, September 12

THE multi-million dollar Inverell Aquatic Centre will be officially opened tomorrow, Friday, September 12, with a community celebration.

The centre has this week reached 100 per cent completion, with the installation of the spectacular splash toy to finalise construction of the state-of-the-art facility.

The Splash Toy is unique to the region and will provide an added attraction to draw the community and visitors to the centre.

The IAC will be closed from 11am, Friday as a small official function is held, by invitation, for contractors and those directly involved with the delivery of the project.

The centre will remain closed until 2pm as preparations are conducted for the community celebration to commence at 4pm.
