Last days of Moree Spend to Spin and Win promotion

CHRISTMAS shoppers in Moree have until lunchtime Saturday, December 14, to Spend to Spin and Win, a Moree Chamber of Commerce initiative supported by 36 local retail outlets and businesses.

The Spin and Win promotion and wheel will be set up near the traffic lights on Balo Street between 9am and midday tomorrow.

Chamber president, Dibs Cush, said Saturday morning was the last chance for ticket-holders to spin for cash and prizes.

More than 400 prizes and vouchers, including “artesian dollars”, were spun and won last Saturday.

“We have more than $5000 in artesian dollars to give away – ‘free money’, sponsored by Moree Plains Shire Council, that can be spent in participating stores until December 31,” Dibs said.

“There is also more than $4000 worth of gift vouchers and several hundred lucky dip prizes, including jewellery, a go-pro style action camera, board games, puzzles and so much more.”

The Christmas promotion has been a huge success, with hundreds of prizes, vouchers and cash given away since the launch earlier this month.

“I’ve received really great feedback from many locals,” Dibs said.

“Many winners said Spend to Spin and Win got them spending more, and visiting stores they might not normally go to.

“They said the spin part of it was fun, and kids absolutely love it,” she said.
