Moree council services and facilities’ operating hours over Easter

MOREE Plains Shire Council has released operating days and hours for services and facilities over the Easter long weekend period, from Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21.

Council’s services and facilities, including the Moree Customer Service Centre, will operate as normal until 5pm Thursday, April 17.

Services and facilities will recommence as usual from Tuesday, April 22.

For emergency and urgent matters, Council can still be contacted 24/7 on the after-hours phone number 02 6757 3222.

Waste Services

Kerbside garbage, recycling and organics collections will be as normal.

Moree Landfill will be closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday and open Easter Saturday and Easter Monday from 9am until 1pm both days.

Landfill at Biniguy, Boggabilla, Boomi, Garah, Gurley, Moree Waste Management Facility, Mungindi, Pallamallawa and Terry Hie Hie will be closed for four days over Easter.
