Sparkes Jewellers new website a sparkler

AFTER 12 months of tweaking, fine-tuning and perfecting, Sparkes Jewellers in Moree and Goondiwindi have launched their new website – and it’s an absolute sparkler.

Owners Stephen and Robyn Sparke have been working closely with Brisbane web designers, Alessandro Meucci Creative & Marketing Agency, to create an online masterpiece befitting their enterprise, and Alessandro has delivered.

“We wanted to make sure everything was perfect. It’s been a long process, but well worth it,” Robyn smiled.

The new website lists every piece of jewellery and watch wear Sparkes Jewellers offer at their Moree and Goondiwindi stores, and an option to buy online.

The website, https://www.sparkesjewellers.com.au/, is easy to navigate and view, with all the prestige brands featured, including Pink Kimberly and Blush Pink Diamonds, Ellani, Najo, Adina, Lorus and G-Shock.

Importantly, there is a “get in touch” option with each item, meaning a staff member is only a phone call away to help clients with important decisions.

“We pride ourselves on ensuring the journey our customers take with us in jewellery design, new purchases, and remodelling is treasured for all times,” Robyn said.

Sparkes’ jewel in the crown is the pink diamond range, with Pink Kimberly and Blush Pink Diamonds headlining a stunning array of shimmering pieces.

The Moree store on Heber Street has been under the Sparkes’ ownership for more than 30 years, with the Goondiwindi branch at 84 Marshall Street opening in 2016.

“We have expanded significantly in recent years and plan further expansion,” Robyn said.

“We’ve renovated both stores, and the Moree store has been renovated twice. The launch of our website has been a major upgrade and in recent years we’ve added Pink Argyle diamond jewellery and digital engraving to our products and services.

“We also travel to Antwerp, the diamond capital of the world, and purchase diamonds,” Robyn said.

Sparkes Jewellers, named Nationwide Jewellers Australian Member of the Year in 2022, offers jewellery custom design, re-modelling and refurbishing, engraving, and jewellery and watch repairs.

Every day is a celebration smiles Robyn, who was a secondary high school teacher and senior education officer with the Department of Education for 21 years before joining Stephen in the family business.

“We regularly hold Pink Argyle and Diamond events, with the next scheduled for Tuesday, November 19 at Goondiwindi and Wednesday, November 20 in Moree,” Robyn said.

“We also celebrate all the important times of the year like Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter, and Mothers’ Day and Father’s Day.”

Stephen has been in the jewellery and watch repair business his entire life, and purchased the Heber Street store in 1993.

The original store, Freeman’s Jewellers, was established in the late 1930s, after relocating from Balo Street.

“All work is carried out by master jewellers and jewellers with individual and specialised skill-sets essential to ensuring perfection in the craftmanship of individual and unique jewellery,” Robyn said.

The Moree store is open Monday to Friday from 9am until 5.30pm and Saturdays, 9am until 2.30pm.

The Goondiwindi Store is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 5pm and Saturdays, 8.30am until midday.
