Register now: Moree junior cricket ready to roll

THE call-up is on to dust off the pads, balance the bails and polish the bats – Moree junior cricket season is ready to hit the wickets.

The club, with a committee headed up newly-elected president Mick Jensen, is calling on nominations to fill teams ahead of the JC1 and JC2 Master Blasters’ launch on Saturday, October 19 at Ron Harborne Ovals.

Juniors Blasters will commence the following Saturday, October 26.

Jensen said numbers were a little down but he hoped registrations would continue before the season starts.

Nominations close late Friday, September 27 and must be done online. All players must be registered through Cricket Australia administrative platform, PlayHQ.

“I’ve got three kids playing cricket, Tom, Sophie and Charlie, and we’re all keen to get back out there.”

“But we do need more players, and the more number we can get, the better the season will be.”
